Description
It is the responsibility of each performer to learn the craft of make-up, that final dressing of the character which will enable him/her to perform his/her role as fully and effectively as possible. This course is designed to teach this craft to those who would be actors, make-up artists, or simply have an interest in learning more about this theatrical art form. We will focus on the theory and techniques of effectively applying various types of make-up and stress the practical application of the make-up to the actor’s own face. PRE-REQUISITE: None (3 credit, 3 lecture, 0 lab)
