Description

Designed to develop a knowledge and understanding of the methods and principles used in distinguishing correct from incorrect reasoning. Three major areas will be stressed: (1) the uses of language and fallacies, (2) deduction, and (3) induction. May be taken concurrently with PHIL 121. (IAI H4 906) (3 credit, 3 lecture, 0 lab)
