Description
This course is designed to introduce the student to scalp and hair properties. Students will learn about anatomy and physiology of the scalp and hair, proper care and maintenance, as well as common issues with the scalp and hair. Students will also learn about infectious diseases and bacteria and their relation to cosmetology practice and safety. (2 credit, 2 lecture, 0 lab)
