Description
Basic concepts of microbiology. Topics include: cell structures, growth requirements, diversity and classification of microbes, bacterial genetics, pathology, immunology. Laboratory required. PRE-REQUISITE: 'C' in high school chemistry or CHEM 123 or CHEM 121. (4 credit, 3 lecture, 2 lab)
